As you settle in, your everyday problems melt away. The spa products used are a surreal of body concoctions that aid in such treatments as the rhythmic exfoliating massage. Your treatment begins the moment you enter the large, candlelit room, awarm breeze blows through the wall-to-wall windows that are delicately dressed with finesilks and thequiet drumbeats echo in the background of the forest birds’ song. Your senses surrender in unison. “A little killer bee honey scrub left behind the ear after the treatment is easily cleanedas you venture to your luxurious jungle bungalow to have your partner lick it off, as if the surroundings alone weren’t enough to make the most pent up Victorian want to bungle in the jungle,” says Healing Retreats and Spas Magazine. “This must be how the ancient Mayas prepared their maidens for sacrifice.
