VICTORIA HOUSE
Initially, the Victoria House doesn't have the feel of a resort in the usual sense and one soon realizes that it is a complete and total retreat, free from the boundaries and pressures of day-to-day life and renowned as one of the best bare-foot resorts in the region. Nestled among tall swaying palms on white sand beaches with an ambiance of relaxation, privacy and casual elegance the resort offers all the services of a luxury hotel without the formalities.
The accommodations are varied here and sure to please you. Surrounded by ten acres of tropical flowers and fauna are Plantation rooms and suites, charming Palapa Casitas and three private Villa's, all fully air-conditioned and most with beach views. A lovely beachfront swimming pool is the perfect gathering place to relax, indulge in a fresh seafood lunch and soak up some island sunshine. On the hotel's pier is Fantasea Dive Center where Javier Williams, Victoria House Activities Coordinator, is ready to facilitate your day trips, arrange your reef and fly-fishing guides and incredible Belize diving and snorkeling experiences.
A Victoria House wedding is the fantasy of a lifetime. In today's busy world, planning a wedding can take such enormous effort that the idea of "eloping" and marrying on a tropical island can be very appealing, especially when it takes place in the romantic setting of Victoria House. Our experienced wedding planners will guide you through our wedding packages and arrange for everything but the warm sand beach and tropical sunsets, we leave that to Mother Nature.
Dining at Victoria House, under the leadership of Executive Chef Amy Knox, is casual with a unique mix of Belizean and continental cuisine. Relaxed and informal yet as romantic as you desire, the air-conditioned candle-lit Palmilla Restaurant will suit your needs, or if you want to dine under the stars, we recommend the patio overlooking the pool and beach. Looking for a more casual experience? Admiral Nelson's beach bar and verandah offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with magnificent views of one of the world's greatest barrier reefs.
